A great addition to Hexham Town centre. Well laid out pub which is welcoming for eating or just for a pint.

Just stayed for three nights with our two Jack Russell’s. Made to feel very welcome right from check in to check out. Room 6 was perfect. Luxury room with all the extras. Unfortunately, the last morning's breakfast was a bit chaotic as they had all 6 rooms down all within 10 min and the lady who was serving deserved a medal. She handled it all professionally and was a credit to the establishment. I would highly recommend this place for Stay, Dine and drink. Free town centre parking also helps.

Went for a family meal on Thursday night, brilliant service from start to finish staff were brilliant and very friendly. Food was lovely very tasty and value for money we will definitely be back thank you coach and horses. You've done a lovely job on refurbishment aswell
Highly recommend this comfortable inn. Stayed 2 nights, comfortable bed, great bathroom, lots of little extra comforts, staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault this place. Should be more than 3*s.
This is a great place...its a beautiful looking very smart pub but with traditional pub food and prices to match not some super expensive gastro pub prices...I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back..
Food was outstanding, so was the service! Dogs are allowed as well.

There has evidently been no expense spared when furnishing these rooms. Beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Loved the touch of the bathrobes and luxurious items. Excellent quality breakfast and service throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. We will definitely be returning again. been today for lunch with family we had 2 fish and chips and 2 chicken and leek pie and chips lovely will definitely be back. staff friendly and polite. love the new decor will be back
